Odder and Surroundings

Odder is a charming trade centre with lots of activity and nice shops. Nearby you find one of Danmark´s best beaches that is suited for children. Every year the Rødstenseje Manor, only a few kilometres south of Odder, has a Summer Galery.
It takes only 20 minutes to drive to the city centre of Århus, and many of Jutland´s tourist attractions are within easy reach. Or what about a trip with the ferry from Hov to Samsø or Tunø?

The Odder museum

The Museum is located in a water and steam mill, a national monument that was in operation until 1955. Here you finde many interesting exhibits, even for kids. The permanent exhibition includes the mill itself, the largest collection of hunting weapons in Denmark and a large collection of traditional costumes.

The Ecolocigal Garden

At the city limits one finds the Ecolocigal Garden, the largest of its kind. It contains plenty of practical advices for gardening, and the gardens constitute a popular attraction for relaxing and interesting walking tours
